   Foods are selected, cleaned, sanitized, preserved and packaged.
   This guarantees its quality, flavor, shelf life, nutritional and commercial value.
   Throughout the process, the edible part that goes into the preparation of the final product is separated.
   The other parts go to make by-products or leftovers.
   Each part of the process and type of food must receive appropriate packaging.
